Explorebits ("we", "our", or "us"), based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, collects information necessary to communicate with you and operate our software services:
- Inquiries: When you submit a message through our Contact form, we collect your name, email address, optional phone/WhatsApp number, inquiry topic, and message.
- Software Evaluations: When evaluating or using our products (such as SettleLedger or Tillena), you may submit operational files (such as courier statements or inventory catalogs) to execute reconciliation or billing workflows.
- System Telemetry & Metadata: To ensure uptime, diagnostic monitoring, and engine performance, our servers routinely collect anonymized technical telemetry, error logs, and system performance metrics. Under Bangladesh law, this technical data is utilized to maintain, debug, and optimize platform reliability.
2. How We Treat Your Data
We believe in straightforward, trustworthy software practices:
- No Data Brokering: We never sell, rent, or trade your contact details, commercial records, or merchant files to third-party data brokers or advertisers.
- Confidentiality: Files uploaded to our software are processed strictly to deliver the requested application features (e.g. courier discrepancy cross-matching or sales ledger updates).
3. Infrastructure and Security
Our website and services are hosted on enterprise-grade edge infrastructure (Cloudflare Pages), enforcing encrypted HTTPS (TLS 1.3). The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent automated spam without tracking your cross-site browsing history. Messages submitted via the contact form are relayed to our engineering team at hello@explorebits.com via the Resend API.
4. WhatsApp and Third-Party Links
The WhatsApp link on our contact page opens a direct chat operated by Meta. Conversations held on WhatsApp are subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy. When our website links to external client sites or third-party tools, their own independent policies apply.
